eStat10 with keylock - ideal for climate control in public buildings

The eStat is a combination of a sensor and a humidistat. With its two analogue outputs for a continuous signal for humidity and temperature and two switching points, it can maintain an optimal indoor climate automatically. With the new keylock-feature it can be used in public buildings without the risk of unauthorized change to the settings.

Modular design and customisable configuration

All-round transmitters for humidity and temperature can be designed for customer-specific measurement tasks and optimally configured via USB.
Some models in the new series are temperature-resistant up to 120 °C and all models have an IP rating of IP 65. The creation of this series represents a further step towards universal applicability. Thanks to their modular design, the new humidity/temperature transmitters can be assembled in accordance with customer requirements from various different transmitter modules and probes. This makes them suitable for many installation situations and applications.

Optimum configuration via USB

Straightforward modification of all physical measurement values, analogue output scaling, measuring ranges and offsets.

The D series humidity transmitters are fitted with a micro USB connector so that, through software, the devices can be precisely adapted for the task in hand. New settings can be applied individually on site (and reset again as required). Further possibilities include specifying an offset, defining a value for the average air pressure at the measuring point (that is different to the factory calibration), or performing a single point calibration with a reference sensor. The software is for Windows XP to 10.

Mela metrological certificate confirmed

Galltec+mela sensors are approved measuring instruments in Russia. It has been confirmed that they were recorded in the State Register of type-approved measuring instruments allowed to be used in the Russian Federation as of 03/11/2015.

Mela completes construction!

"You need to think big goals to win big success!" This is the attitude taken by MELA Sensortechnik GmbH, so without a moment's hesitation, they modified the heating room extension they had planned. This resulted in a completely new building, with an additional 420m² of space on top of the 850m² they already had. Thanks to the new space and state of the art technology, the new building will further optimise daily business. The festive topping-out ceremony already took place in October 2014, but now the building is completely ready to move into.

Exhibitor at the Climatización at Madrid

45,000 visitors, 700 exhibitors and the topics heating, air conditioning and ventilation. So we were able to talk to many interested visitors and inform them on optimal measurement solutions. It was a pleasure to meet our existing customers, suppliers and colleagues. See you next time.

Galltec+Mela present themselves at the ACREX in Indien

This year the ACREX India took place from the 26th to 28th of February. About 30,000 visitors were able to get in contact with the 400 exhibitors out of the business of climate and ventilation. Galltec+Mela also presented themselves at the Exhibition and were able to talk with many interested visitors about their measurement requirements and optimal solutions. It also was a pleasure to meet existing customers, suppliers and colleagues. See you next time.

Electronic humidistats eStat
Allrounder with 2 switching points and 2 analogue outputs

For the first time, Galltec+Mela proudly presents the series eStat hygrostats as flexible allrounders for monitoring humidity. Depending on the application, you can use either the eStat10 version with an integrated capacitive humidity sensor, or the eStat20 version with a capacitive humidity sensor mounted up to 25 m away.

With two relays for monitoring humidity which can be individually configured, a digital display and two additional analogue outputs for humidity and temperature, between them, the two hygrostats are suitable for the whole spectrum of possible applications: HVAC and building automation, cooling and climate technology, storage and transport, apparatus and plant engineering, production and process automation, agricultural and food technology, energy and environmental technology or meteorology.

Miniature sensors for humidity and temperature: the M Series

Reliable and almost invisible - this is how the miniature humidity/temperature sensors in the M Series by GALLTEC+MELA work. You will find them being used in in-house installations, in display cases in museums or in climatised cabinets. With a diameter of only 12 mm and the size of an ordinary filter cap, they are suitable for being installed in places they can‘t be seen.


The sensors supply all measurable variables either as an analogue output signal of 0 ... 1 Volt, or as an I²C compliant signal which allows implementation in digital systems.
